EGreed Technology in Europe
EGreed maintains points of presence across 20 Europe countries, hubbed at London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Paris. The region serves European customers of Rwandan businesses, diaspora services, EU-funded programmes and NGOs operating in East Africa. Regulated African data stays in African data centres unless you explicitly ask for it to be replicated here.

How organisations use this coverage
Serve global users of an African platform
Terminate Europe traffic at a local edge node while the system of record and regulated data stay in Rwanda.
Offsite, out-of-continent backups
Hold an immutable third copy of critical data in Europe so a continental incident never costs you your recovery point.
Distributed teams and partners
Give Europe staff, auditors and partners fast, authenticated access through EGREED ID without opening your Rwandan network.
Data protection and compliance
- • GDPR-aligned data processing agreements
- • EU standard contractual clauses for transfers
- • ISO 27001 aligned controls
Frequently asked questions — Europe
Does EGreed operate in Europe?
Yes. EGreed maintains edge points of presence across 20 Europe countries, hubbed at London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Paris, all managed from the Kigali network operations centre.
Will my Rwandan data be moved to Europe?
No, not unless you request it. Data residency is contractual: Rwandan and regional data stays in EGreed's African data centres by default, and Europe nodes only cache or replicate what you explicitly allow.
What latency should Europe users expect?
10–25 ms across Western Europe, 120–160 ms Europe to Kigali
Which regulations apply to Europe workloads?
GDPR-aligned data processing agreements, EU standard contractual clauses for transfers, ISO 27001 aligned controls. EGreed provides the data-processing agreement and transfer documentation for each jurisdiction.
Can I run disaster recovery in Europe?
Yes. EGreed builds warm or cold standby environments in Europe with tested recovery-time and recovery-point objectives, rehearsed at least twice a year.
Who do I contact about Europe coverage?
Email hello@egreedtech.org or call +250 795 822 290. The Kigali team handles global coverage requests and will schedule a design session in your time zone.
