Server Management, Monitoring and Uptime Engineering in Rwanda

EGreed Technology installs, hardens, monitors and maintains servers for Rwandan organisations — Windows and Linux, virtualisation, Active Directory, databases, patching, 24/7 monitoring and 99.99% uptime engineering.

Servers that are watched, patched and provably recoverable

A server is not a purchase, it is a commitment. EGreed Technology takes that commitment on: build, harden, monitor, patch, back up, test the restore and report on it every month — whether the machine sits in your office, in an EGreed data centre or in EGreed Cloud.

What server management includes

  • Sizing, procurement advice and rack or cloud build
  • Operating-system installation and CIS-aligned hardening (Windows Server, Ubuntu, Debian, RHEL/Rocky)
  • Virtualisation: VMware, Proxmox, Hyper-V, KVM, plus container platforms
  • Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file and print services, group policy
  • Database administration: PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, SQL Server, MongoDB
  • Web and application stacks: Nginx, Apache, Node.js, PHP, Java, Python, .NET
  • Patch management with a tested maintenance window and rollback plan
  • Capacity planning and performance tuning before saturation, not after

High availability and uptime engineering

  1. Remove single points of failure: dual PSU, bonded NICs, RAID, redundant uplinks
  2. Cluster or load-balance the application tier
  3. Replicate the database with automated failover and measured replication lag
  4. Place standby capacity in a second EGreed data centre
  5. Rehearse failover on a schedule and record the actual recovery time
  6. Publish uptime achieved against the SLA in the monthly report

Hardening baseline

  • Least-privilege accounts, no shared logins, MFA via EGREED ID on all administrative access
  • SSH key-only authentication, no root login, fail2ban or equivalent
  • Host firewall, network segmentation and jump-host access only
  • Centralised, tamper-evident log shipping with retention
  • Automated vulnerability scanning and a defined patch SLA by severity
  • Quarterly configuration drift review against the documented baseline

EGreed Technology infrastructure footprint

EGreed operates its own infrastructure rather than reselling someone else's. Every number below is part of the standard service description we publish for customers, auditors and partners.

Rwandan customer data stays in Rwandan data centres by default. Global points of presence exist to accelerate delivery, replicate backups and serve diaspora and international traffic — not to move regulated data offshore.

Frequently asked questions

Does EGreed manage on-premise servers as well as cloud servers?

Yes. EGreed manages servers in your office, in EGreed data centres and in EGreed Cloud under the same monitoring, patching and reporting standard.

What uptime can EGreed guarantee?

Standard managed servers carry a 99.9% availability SLA and Enterprise high-availability designs carry 99.99%, with achieved uptime published in the monthly report.

Which operating systems do you support?

Windows Server, Ubuntu, Debian, RHEL and Rocky Linux, plus VMware, Proxmox, Hyper-V and KVM virtualisation and container platforms.

How are servers monitored?

The EGreed network operations centre monitors CPU, memory, disk, service health, TLS expiry, RAID and SMART state, backup job status, security events and on-premise environmental sensors 24/7.

Do you handle patching?

Yes — patching runs in an agreed maintenance window with a tested rollback plan and a patch SLA graded by vulnerability severity.
