What EGreed network services cover

  • Site surveys, heat mapping and structured cabling to Cat6/Cat6a and fibre standards
  • Core, distribution and access switching design with redundancy
  • Enterprise Wi-Fi with seamless roaming, guest isolation and per-SSID policy
  • Multi-branch WAN and SD-WAN with dual-carrier failover
  • Firewall, VPN and zero-trust remote access
  • VLAN segmentation for staff, guests, CCTV, POS, VoIP and IoT
  • VoIP and unified communications readiness with QoS
  • 24/7 monitoring by the EGreed NOC and monthly performance reporting

A reference architecture for a multi-branch Rwandan organisation

Every branch keeps a local internet break-out for cloud traffic and an encrypted tunnel home for internal systems, so a single carrier fault never isolates a site.

Segmentation policy — the single highest-value control

SegmentWhat lives thereRule
ServersApplication, file and database serversNo direct internet inbound; access via jump host only
StaffLaptops, desktops, printersReaches servers on specific ports only
GuestVisitor Wi-FiInternet only, client isolation on, bandwidth capped
CCTVCameras and NVRNo internet; NVR reachable only from security VLAN
POSPayment terminalsWhitelisted destinations only, isolated from staff VLAN
IoTSensors, smart devices, access controlOutbound-only to named endpoints
ManagementSwitches, firewalls, iDRAC/iLOOut-of-band, MFA via EGREED ID, jump host only

Wi-Fi that survives a full office

  1. Predictive design from floor plans, then a physical site survey to validate
  2. Access point placement for coverage overlap without co-channel interference
  3. Band steering and minimum data-rate tuning to remove sticky-client problems
  4. Separate SSIDs for staff (802.1X), guest (portal) and devices (PSK per group)
  5. PoE budget and switch capacity verified before installation
  6. Post-installation walk test with a signed heat map and coverage report

Ongoing management

  • Firmware lifecycle management for switches, firewalls and access points
  • Configuration backup before every change, with version history and rollback
  • Change control: requested, reviewed, scheduled, tested, documented
  • Port error, saturation and broadcast storm monitoring by the NOC
  • Carrier ticket management on your behalf when the fault is upstream
  • Quarterly network review: capacity, security posture and roadmap

Documentation you actually own

  • Logical and physical network diagrams kept current after every change
  • IP address plan, VLAN map and DHCP scope register
  • Patch panel and port map per rack and per floor
  • Firewall rule base with business justification per rule
  • Failover runbook with tested recovery steps and last-tested date

All documentation is handed over in editable form. If you leave EGreed, you leave with a network you can run.

Request this service

Use the service request form at the bottom of this page. It routes your request to the owning EGreed team, confirms a first-response time and lists exactly what happens next. You can also email support@egreedtech.org or call +250 795 822 290.

Delivery is backed by 1 Kigali headquarters, 8 Rwandan data centres and 3 branch service centres, with servers in 10 African countries and presence in 70 countries worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

Do you do structured cabling as well as configuration?

Yes. EGreed installs and certifies Cat6, Cat6a and fibre cabling, patch panels and racks, then designs and configures the active network on top.

Can you connect our branches together?

Yes. EGreed builds multi-branch WAN and SD-WAN with dual-carrier failover, encrypted tunnels and local internet break-out, monitored 24/7 from the Kigali NOC.

Why does network segmentation matter?

Segmentation stops one compromised laptop or camera from reaching servers and payment terminals. It is the single highest-value control most Rwandan networks are missing.

Will our Wi-Fi handle a full office?

EGreed designs from floor plans, validates with a physical survey, tunes band steering and minimum data rates, and hands over a signed post-installation heat map.

Who deals with the internet provider when the line is down?

EGreed does. The NOC detects the fault, confirms it is upstream, opens and chases the carrier ticket, and keeps you informed until service is restored.

Do we get the network documentation?

Yes — diagrams, IP plan, VLAN map, port maps, firewall rule base and failover runbook are handed over in editable form and kept current after every change.
