EGreed Global Infrastructure — 8 Rwandan Data Centres, 10 African Countries, 70 Countries Worldwide

Why EGreed owns its infrastructure

Africa has been served for two decades by infrastructure sitting in Europe. It works, until latency, currency, regulation or a subsea cable cut makes it fail. EGreed Technology took the harder path: build and operate the facilities, in Rwanda first, then across the continent.

The Rwandan core

Headquarters1Kigali — engineering, network operations centre, executive

Backups and production never share a single site: replication pairs are chosen so that no two copies sit in the same power grid segment or flood zone.

Ten African countries

EGreed runs server capacity in ten African countries across East, Central, West and Southern Africa. Regional capacity serves three purposes: it keeps latency low for customers outside Rwanda, it gives multinational clients in-region residency where their regulator demands it, and it creates continental redundancy that does not depend on a single subsea route.

Seventy countries globally

Beyond Africa, EGreed maintains edge or server presence in seventy countries across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas. This is the delivery layer — CDN nodes, DNS anycast, API edge termination and DR replicas — so a Rwandan business serving international customers is fast everywhere without hosting its regulated data abroad.

Facility standards

  • N+1 power: utility feed, UPS strings and diesel generators with on-site fuel reserve
  • N+1 precision cooling with hot/cold aisle containment
  • Multiple independent carriers and diverse fibre entry paths
  • Biometric and card access control, mantrap entry, 24/7 CCTV with retained footage
  • Fire detection with clean-agent suppression
  • Environmental telemetry per rack: temperature, humidity, power draw, door state
  • 24/7 network operations centre with follow-the-sun escalation

Colocation and connectivity

Organisations that own their hardware can colocate with EGreed in quarter, half or full racks, with metered or committed power, redundant uplinks, remote hands and optional managed monitoring. Private interconnect to EGreed Cloud, EGREED Deploy or your other sites is available over VPN or dedicated fibre.

EGreed Technology infrastructure footprint

EGreed operates its own infrastructure rather than reselling someone else's. Every number below is part of the standard service description we publish for customers, auditors and partners.

Rwandan customer data stays in Rwandan data centres by default. Global points of presence exist to accelerate delivery, replicate backups and serve diaspora and international traffic — not to move regulated data offshore.
